A full day of game drives in Tarangire. The park is home to one of the densest elephant populations in Tanzania. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore the highland farming country around Karatu. Spend a relaxed afternoon visiting a local coffee farm or resting at the lodge in preparation for tomorrow's crater descent.
