8-Day Tanzania Photography Safari

Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to a luxury lodge in Arusha. Pre-trip briefing with your photography guide, who will walk you through the gear check, shot list, and the customized vehicle setup.

A morning drive to Tarangire. Afternoon photography session in the park - Tarangire's baobab-studded landscapes and elephant herds are a photographer's dream. Golden hour positioning at the Tarangire River.

A full day of photography in Tarangire. We focus on the most photogenic subjects: elephant herds at the river, baobab silhouettes at sunset, bee-eaters on a branch, and lilac-breasted rollers in flight. Image review session in the evening.

A drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and down onto the Serengeti plains. Afternoon photography session in the Seronera Valley. Golden hour positioning at a kopje or river crossing.

A full day of photography in the Seronera area. We focus on predator action: lion prides, leopard sightings, and cheetah families. Off-road positioning at the most photogenic kills. Image review session in the evening.

Another full day of photography, with a focus on different subjects: hippo pools, crocodile basking, and the rich birdlife. We may also visit a private conservancy for low-vehicle-density photography of big cats.

A morning photography session, then a drive up to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Afternoon at leisure on the rim, with the option of a crater rim hike for landscape photography.

A descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day photography session. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then return to Arusha by early evening. Final image review and farewell dinner with your guide. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
