A luxury safari with us means the very best of Tanzania - the top end of the lodge market, private vehicles and guides for the entire trip, and an itinerary built from scratch around what you want to see and do. We work with a small portfolio of properties we trust deeply: andBeyond Lake Manyara, Sayari Camp, Lemala, Chem Chem, and a handful of others. Our luxury safaris include everything: all meals, drinks (including a curated wine list and premium spirits), park fees, flying safaris where they make sense, hot-air balloon rides on the Serengeti, and private guides who have summited Kilimanjaro and know every animal in the northern circuit by name. Tipping is organised in advance, and there are no surprise costs along the way.
When to go
Two windows of absolute exclusivity
Luxury safaris are less about a single "best month" and more about matching exclusivity to the right migration phase. The northern Serengeti’s mobile camps fill 12–18 months out, so timing and booking strategy go hand in hand.

Book northern Serengeti luxury camps 12–18 months ahead for August. The best mobile camps have fewer than ten tents and sell out first.
