Day 01Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire
Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire
Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven south to Tarangire National Park. Afternoon game drive among baobabs and elephant herds. Overnight in a designated public campsite just outside the park.
Day 02Full Day in Tarangire
Full Day in Tarangire
A full day of game drives in Tarangire. The park is home to one of the densest elephant populations in Tanzania, plus lion, leopard, cheetah, and over 550 bird species. Bush picnic lunch under a baobab. Drive to Mto wa Mbu campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 03Mto wa Mbu to the Serengeti
Mto wa Mbu to the Serengeti
A drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and down onto the Serengeti plains. Afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti. Overnight at a designated public campsite inside the park.
Day 04Full Day in the Central Serengeti
Full Day in the Central Serengeti
A full day of game drives in the Seronera area - the most predator-rich habitat in the Serengeti. Bush picnic lunch and late-afternoon game drive. Overnight at the same campsite.
Day 05Serengeti to Karatu
Serengeti to Karatu
A morning game drive as we leave the Serengeti, then a drive to Karatu. Settle into a campsite in Karatu for dinner and overnight rest before tomorrow's crater descent.
Day 06Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha & Departure
Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha & Departure
A descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then return to Arusha by early evening. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
