7-Day Ndutu Calving Season · Lodge Safari
Witness over 500,000 wildebeest calves being born on the Ndutu Plains - nature at its most raw, dramatic, and unforgettable.
TOUR OVERVIEW
Every year between January and March, the southern Serengeti and Ndutu Plains host one of nature's greatest spectacles: the calving of the wildebeest migration. Around 500,000 wildebeest calves are born in just six weeks, attracting predators in extraordinary concentrations. This seven-day safari positions you in the heart of the action, with off-road driving permits for the best photographic positions and stays inside the ecosystem.
Calving season is the most underrated act of the wildebeest migration. The drama is compressed, the action is intense, and the photographic opportunities are unmatched. Book early.
