6-Day Kilimanjaro Climb · Marangu Route
The 'Coca-Cola Route' - the original path to the summit, with hut accommodation and a gentler profile.
TOUR OVERVIEW
Marangu is the oldest and most established route on Kilimanjaro. It is the only route with hut accommodation (rather than tents), which makes it a popular choice for those who want a slightly more comfortable climb. The profile is gentler than Machame or Lemosho, but the shorter itinerary means acclimatization is less forgiving. Ideal for first-time trekkers who prefer a roof over their head.
The ‘Coca-Cola Route’ - named for being slightly easier and more comfortable than the alternative. Hut accommodation and a gentler profile make it the right choice for first-time trekkers who prefer a roof over their head.
