5-Day Zanzibar Beach Escape

Met at Zanzibar International Airport and transferred to your beachfront resort. The rest of the day is yours - settle in, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, and enjoy a welcome dinner on the beach.

A private guided walking tour of Stone Town, the old quarter of Zanzibar City. Wander the narrow alleys, visit the old slave market, the Sultan's Palace, and the House of Wonders. Learn about Zanzibar's role in the spice trade, the slave trade, and its multicultural heritage. Lunch at a local restaurant, then a visit to a spice farm where you will taste and smell cinnamon, vanilla, cloves, and nutmeg straight from the source.

A free day to enjoy the resort. Swim, snorkel, read, or book a spa treatment. In the late afternoon, we board a traditional wooden dhow for a sunset cruise with champagne and canapés. We anchor in a quiet cove to watch the sun go down over the Indian Ocean.

A morning snorkeling excursion to a nearby reef, where you will see tropical fish, sea turtles, and (with luck) dolphins. Afternoon at leisure. Optional visit to Prison Island, home to a colony of giant Aldabra tortoises.

Final breakfast on the beach, then transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home (or to your next destination). Transfer to the airport for your departure.
